end of yet another semester.....

after four totally screwed up papers , i realized i have completed another eventful semester at kgp.....i'm happy its been a cool ride till now. never thought of but a lot has happened the last 4 months or so.
the most significant is that i have turned from an energetic person to one who is all lazy.....
will do that later, will study later..........later having become my fav adjective.........
but still for evrthng .. ..thnks to my friends..........

Metal's Meganomaniac.

Megadeth, maiden and metallica, the foremost metal bands of the world. the soulbearers of all the headbangers. the carzy freakin fans of their guitar fuckin solos and fast rhythyms. but ever wondered why?
all these bands were simply unknown to me before coming to college. though i played guitar since long, still i had nvr hrd of these amazing ppl. it was just those girlish bands i had been exposed to by the MTV and co. i played them even sang along and i thought dis was it. but me comin to cllg had my ears exposed to all kinds of stuff. now i saw ppla listening to, i don't know how many varities of music. earlier for me there was only english bands playin the usual stuff. but now there was metal, hard metal,death metal, ass fuckin metal, gore metal, anti christ metal and what not.
what was all the common among these was that these ppl never followed the general following. they played stuff others termed crazy, did things considered stupid but they were here to stay.
for me too they still seemed a bit over the top in the beginning. but i still hadn't heard of megadeth. then one fine evening i heard holy wars. this was it. i hadn't heard anything like this before. the bone crunching stuff played by these ppl just took over me. the lightning solos with riffs too fast to imagine began rulling my ears. i had been conquered. den came the bands maiden and metallica. mustaine, hammet, marty found space in my musical vocabulary. for me these few bands were it, nothing seemed better off. maybe i had found the stuff i was looking for.
on the other hand my guitar playing began suffering. i wanted to play the new breed of music i had my ears on, but to my dissapointment i found them fun only while listening to. gradually picked up some riffs to brag about among my friends but still i still wanted something more. i wanted to do the mustaine. it was during this time i attended a rock concert in my college by the band prestorika. really they were doin the things i always wanted to do.
Maybe one day, i might occupy the centre of stage and make people headbang to my kind a stuff.
i just wish smday.

my new guitar

hey finally i bought the guitar i was craving for long. it's an ibanez grg170dx with sharktooth inlays all over the fret board. if not for the ibanez written on the head anyone can confuse it with a jacksons. anyways now half of the job is done. what's left is to learn playing the awesome cool looking instrument. but this time i know i will atleast do a mustaine in the next fest or so.
me playing or buying a guitar really dates back to when i was just 9. brought the guitar by the starter's favourite Givson but only as a showpiece in our drwaing room. for two long yrs the guitar remained at the same position. only to be brought out during the christmas gatherings, once a year. it was 2 years since tha i started the axe but never advanced beyond playing some basic chords and stuff. that was the end of my first guitar.
but then came the time for a new guitar, again givson jumbo. actually i had carelessly banged the guitar to the wall to get some pretty nasty cracks. so the new guitar waz brought just after me giving my classs 10 board exams. i started learning from a techer i heard of for long. he was a true artist , had a band and taught in the offtime. under him learnt a lot for two crazy guitar years. my parents were really behind all this, otherwise i would a have had never learnt playing this.
then before i knew i was into the engineering college. and my playing jumped leaps and bounds. played for my hostel , at the college fest and what not. but ultimately i wanted my own guitar. then at the end of 2nd yr finally bought this cool looking axe. its been a crazy guitar journey but now i believe i'm on top of it finally.

New Semester New Resolutions

So yet another semester starts and along with it you have a new set of rules set aside for u to abide by. all based upon the previous mistakes and experiences. resolutions as they r called r made everytime. really huge aspirations call for mega plans. but r v ever able to observe these rules.
i know for sure i can't. gradually the lazy guy inside me takes over and im back on the old track.
im a big planner but i am not a very good planner.
so this time i have decided to go away without any resolutions and be kinda freelancer. no rules and nothing. everyday being a fresh start without a hint of care or worry for what happened earlier.

ManU's Loss............a definite heartbreak

It's been a real sad day for all manU fans outta there. The dream of becoming the first team to do a treble twice just vanished into space like anything. The force of kaka and the resilient gattuso just blew manU away. The red devils never were able to come to the terms played solely by milan.
First there was the heavy rain that almost played spoilsport for manU with their players looking uneasy running in it let alone controlling the ball. Then the errors of vidic and heinze giving away the first two goals made it pretty easy for milan to make their way through to the finals. These two goals sank manU in and they never came to the fore after this. However there was still hope, the way the devils had battled themselves out of trouble against juventus in the treble winning expedition in '99. But dreams never always come true. It was milan's night by and large. They were the better team today and so did they win.
Am I sounding a bit harsh on manU, I hope not. Am an ardent fan of the united team, having the most promising group of people as it could get. but still not everyday is your day. some times you click and sometimes you don't. The thing is we still got two finals two see off. The EPL champioship is almost going to Old Trafford and the FA cup will witness the most exciting match with chelsea trying to win something this season.
All in all it has been an superb season for manchester. They have been perfect throughout this year, evrything going their way. With results of the last two years it was looking the charm of Sir Alex Fergusson was slowly dwindling away. But he as always came back strongly to show the force he is.
Hoping Manchester United do win the double.

the start.

so finally after a really long time im back to smthng i dont really njoi but still wanna do. the start i believe is the most difficlut one and since i alrdy hav done so i dont see myself into any problems as such.

everyday is said to be new day and u start afresh but for me i just don't knw but the last day continues on, maybe because i just don't sleep at all and just try to close my eyes pretending to sleep. sleeping for me is in the classes. u can nvr take the gr8 feeling that u get vn u hav had slept in class, bunked it or given of a proxy. i don't mean to say i'm into all these. i blv all these r really the few things that u shud definitely do while in college. i waz a early beginner startin doin such things as early as in skool. these r the very essential things one got to xprnc while in college. for me doin so in an IIT makes it a bit too hot to handle with profs running arnd with all aim to deregister u of their attendance books. but v all r damn freaked out to fall for all those. V or shud i say myslf blv u shud alwayz do the stuff u njoi and nvr give up jst becos u r afraid.
